Customs and Traditions to Remember During Your Dominican Adult Vacation

Tourists around the world visit the Dominican Republic to enjoy the beauty of the Caribbean. The white sanded shores, the activities on the beach and
the underwater beauty should never be missed. However, as soon as tourists set foot in this nation, they will find out that the country is more than just
another place in the Caribbean. The Dominican Republic is also full of impressive customs and traditions rarely found elsewhere. This coupled with the warm
accommodation by locals is why men come here for erotic experiences, and many never leave disappointed because of the beautiful ladies that really know
how to treat their guests.

While the locals from the Dominican Republic show respect and great accommodation to their guests, it's also imperative that you show respect to gain more
admiration from them in return. If you're planning to visit the Dominican Republic, there are some things that you should and should not do or say.

Language and Topics

The best way to show your admiration and respect to the locals is to use their language. You don't have to be fluent in Spanish - just show them that you are willing
to communicate in Spanish. For the topics, many Dominicans are not yet keen in talking about their neighbor (Haiti). The unrest in this country has spilled over a bit on
the country's western border. Illegal immigration is still a problem so asking them about it might solicit a negative reaction.

Holidays and Celebrations

The Dominican Republic is a religious country and some of their biggest celebrations are deeply rooted in their beliefs. Christmas and New Years are celebrated with
great food (try the roast pork) and lots of drinking (rum and beer). The only difference is that the kids do not receive their gifts on Christmas but on Three Kings or
Día de los Reyes Magos. A celebration in the Dominican Republic is also coupled with partying and dancing, especially if you're in a bar. Merengue is the most popular
form of dance in the country and you can try it out even if you haven't heard of this dancing style.

Interacting with Staff, Waiters, Peddlers, etc.

If you're not going out to experience the traditional way of life in the Dominican Republic, your interaction is most likely to be limited to hotel staff, waiters and street
peddlers. The hotel staff and waiters will always do their best to please their guests so it's best to provide some tips for their services. There are no specific rules on
how much you should give for their services but giving them something extra for their services will make your stay more comfortable.

You should also expect that you'll be crowded by street peddlers from time to time, especially on the beach. Don't fret because every tourist has gone through this
situation. Just be firm that you're not interested and they will walk away and will not feel bad. They know that some may not be interested in their wares and will
just go without any complaints.
