The Caribbean is often considered one of the best places on earth
for enjoying the beach. Tourists visit the Dominican Republic to
enjoy the white sanded beaches that never
seem to end. Some men also
come to this beautiful country to enjoy the beauty of the ladies in
adult resorts which have great views of the Caribbean. However, the Dominican
Republic is more than just a place where
you can enjoy swimming, scuba diving and other water related
activities. This country is one of the biggest landmasses in the
Caribbean, and this means that tourists can also enjoy the beauty of
the land. There are some great hiking trails in the Dominican
Republic.
The Central Cordillera
The best place to enjoy hiking is in the central region of the
Dominican Republic. This is also the most challenging trek in the
country as the highest point in the Caribbean is
located here. Pico
Duarte will require at least three days before hikers can arrive at
this point in the Caribbean. This is clearly very challenging to inexperienced hikers.
Fortunately, there are other areas in the Dominican Republic that
offer shorter hikes. This is perfect for men who want
to see the
Dominican Republic with their sexy companions.
Mount Isabel de Torres
This is a highly recommended place to visit for tourists staying
in Puerto Plata. This mountain is very easy to trek but the top of
the mountain provides a magnificent view
of the city. Aside from the
view of the city (with the ocean), there is a small but very
impressive botanical garden for tourists to enjoy. Going back to
Puerto Plata is also
very interesting as tourists can use the cable
car while going down the mountain.
Parque Nacional Cuevas del Borbon
Those who want to travel a bit to the southwest end of the region
should consider visiting Parque Nacional Cuevas del Borbon. Located
in Oviedo, the national park
is just a short hike but offers a
variety of interesting places to visit. Specifically, the caves in
these areas are well protected and they contain some interesting
paintings
that date back to the Taino civilization. Aside from the caves, this is one of the best places to visit for
bird watchers. Birds such as flamingos, walbers, and herons
can be
found in this park.
Salto El Limon
In the north, Salto El Limon is one of the best places for a short
hike. There is a small waterfall that can be enjoyed by tourists.
While the waterfall is located in the end
of the park, the trip is
really worth it. For those who want an additional challenge, they can go northeast
and visit Playa Fronton. While many places in the Dominican
Republic
are already full of tourists, Playa Fronton is still one of the most
isolated beaches in the country. These are some of the places that tourists interested in hiking
should visit. Trekking these places will not require three days of
walking so you will still have time to enjoy yourself in the adult
themed resort.
